Bahamas, Guadeloupe, Saint-Vincent and the Grenadines...
Bahamian...
After Saint-Martin, Antigua, Martinique, Saint-Lucia, Guadeloupe, Saint-Vincent and the Grenadines, VOILE CAPITAINE JACK has set sail for the BAHAMAS. The dream crew took a well-deserved vacation by joining to the crew of Voile Capitaine Jack. We left between February 22 to February 29, 2020.
We sailed on a Catamaran Lagoon 400. This sailboat has 4 bedrooms with double bed, toilet and shower. The living space is splendid and pleasant. Here is a link to the sailboat for those who would like to know more : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibB49E0u9pA.
The cost of $1500 per person per week included food, one night at the dock on departure, bedding and a lot of fun!!! The team members participated to maneuvers and sailed from island to island under the supervision of Captain Jack. We saw enchanting sites, fine sandy beaches, we swam in the turquoise waters… we made snorkeling to observe a plane that was used for smuggling, we traveled the "Dingy Road" to end up on a dream beach... A pre-departure meeting had place in order to properly plan the trip. " My goal is to make people happy, to pass on to them my passion for sailing, to involve the crew in the maneuvers and operations of the sailboat… all in a safe context. » said Captain Jack.
Do I need to have my title of Chef de Bord or to have sailing experience? No. Several team members simply want to take advantage of the sun, others want to take part in manoeuvres, learn to tie knots, understand how to read nautical charts… it's also possible. It is even possible to follow a Captain's training or obtain his intermediate level training if you wish (50% discount on training when you participate in a cruise). For more details, on trainings and costs, please consult the Training section of the WEB site : https://www.voilecapitainejack.net
